Spring Green
Hemlock Falls were once simply known as Waterfall #2, one of the two prominent waterfalls in Cloudland Canyon State Park. A contest was held in 2011 to name both falls.
Cloudland Canyon is located in northwest Georgia near the town of Trenton. On top of Lookout Mountain, the canyon was formed by Daniel and Bear Creek which cut gorges through the rock before joining to become Sitton Gulch Creek. Both falls are located on Daniel Creek.
The canyon itself is more than 1000 feet deep, and to reach the falls you will get to experience every one of them. The two mile Waterfalls Trail is at approximately 40 degree angle and mostly composed of stair cases. (3.2 sec at f/16)
