Misty Morning
Summer morning at the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River near Horsetrough Falls in Blairsville, Georgia. That Chattahoochee River is over 400 miles long. The source is located in Union County, Georgia inside the Chattahoochee National Forest. The river flows generally southwest and provides much of the water for Lake Sydney Lanier. After flowing through Atlanta, Georgia, the river meanders more southwest and forms part of the border between Alabama and Georgia. The river is known by many locals as "The Hooch".
