Stormy Skies on Lanier
Mountain View Park is located near Gainesville, GA on Lake Lanier. It is quite popular with local bank fisherman as it has a nice secluded beach area from which to fish.
Lake Lanier (Lake Sydney Lanier) is a 38,000 acre lake with over 690 miles of shoreline in northern Georgia. It was created by completing the Buford Dam on the Chattahoochee River in 1956. It is also fed by the Chestatee River.
