The River to Sea Preserve is a 90 acre park located on both sides of A1A in Marineland, Florida. The park is owned by both Flagler County and the town of Marineland. The park offers beach access, as well as nature trails through natural habitat. The beach is lined with coquina rock in many areas.
Coquina rock is a composed of shells and sand bonded together with calcite. The rock has been used in construction for centuries where it is plentiful.
