Ocunaluftee Spring

Early spring morning on the Ocunaluftee River on the Ocunaluftee River Tree in Cherokee, North Carolina. The Ocunaluftee River is one of the more accessible rivers in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is in the far eastern part of the park and is formed by the confluence of Beech Flats Prong and Kephart Prong. The river has a good population of brown and rainbow trout in the lower parts, while some brook trout may be found in the upper parts of the river. (0.3 sec at f/16, ISO 50)
