Spruce Flats Falls
Spring morning at Spruce Flats Falls in the Tremont area of Great Smoky Mountain National Park Spruce Flats Falls are on Spruce Flats Branch just before it empties into the Middle Prong of the Little River. The main part of the falls are approximately 30 ft. high, with several smaller drops as well. The plunge pool at the bottom of the falls is deep enough for swimming.
The falls are reached via a 2 mile out and back trail beginning at the Great Smoky Mountains Institure at Tremont. (0.4 sec at f/8.0, ISO 200)
